Big news!!  Have you been wondering how the library would spend the $10,000 if MGPL wins the Playaway Picture This Contest?  It's just been decided that the money would go to improving the TEEN space!!!

Want to be in a Commercial?

Calling all teens!  At the Teen Library Council meeting last week, we voted to make a teen commercial to promote voting for MGPL in the Playaway Picture This Contest!  (Haven't voted yet?  Go to http://vote.playaway.com/v/mortongrove/!!)  If you want to help out with the commercial and/or be in it, we'll be filming two days next week --

Monday, November 15th from 6-8 pm in the lower level Activity Room
Tuesday, November 16th from 7-8:30 pm (after Gettin' Saucy Cooking Class) in the Baxter Room Auditorium

Can't make it either day?  That's ok - you can still help by sharing the commercial when we're done!

Morton Grove Public Library is thrilled to announce that we are one of the top 10 finalists in the nationwide Playaway Picture This Contest, selected from hundreds of entries. This gives us a chance to win $10,000 for the library.

Playaway books are audiobooks in an all-in-one package that requires nothing more than a set of earbuds. No bigger than a pack of cards, Playaways make audiobooks accessible for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Look for the bright orange cases on our audiobook shelves to find a Playaway for you!
