Teen Job Fair

Thinking about getting a job? Skokie Public Library is hosting a Teen Job Fair on Wednesday, March 31st from 1-4 pm. Since a lot of you will be on Spring Break, it's a great time to think about summer jobs. Teens participating in the Job Fair will have an opportunity to get job hunting tips, meet with potential employers, pick up job applications, practice interviewing, and learn about volunteer jobs. For more information about the Teen Job Fair at Skokie, check out their website.After you've attended the Teen Job Fair, register for the Teen Tech Workshop on Résumés right here at MGPL! You can learn tips on writing a great résumé on Monday, April 12 at 7 pm. Registration opens March 29, but there's only space for six teens so don't forget!

And if you're not going to be too busy with a summer job, you can be a STAR Volunteer at MGPL and help with the Youth Services Summer Library Challenge! More information will be coming soon. Keep your eye on the Teen Webpage for information and an application!
