Read, Eat, And Discuss: Teen Book Club



Friday, August 11 @ 11 am, the Teen Book Club is meeting to eat pizza and discuss the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.

Tuesday, August 15 @ 3 pm, the Teen Book Club is watching the movie Speak in the auditorium at the Library.

All teens are welcome to join our group for either or both of the events!

The next R.E.A.D. Teen Book Club meeting is Thursday, September 7 @ 7 pm to discuss
The Beast by Walter Dean Myers.

It is up to you if you want to have a copy of the book with you. Sometimes people like to look back at something that we are talking about, but we should have plenty of copies. =)

There was a great discussion at Book Club this morning about the book Speak. Everyone had lots to share!

The Book Club watched the movie, Speak, on Tuesday at the Library. Many differences between the book and the movie were discussed. The group rated the movie 3 1/2 stars. If you have not seen it, come check-out the DVD from MGPL's DVD collection. Reminder! There is no fee for Morton Grove card holders. DVD rentals are free!
